Monterey Cultural Council Minutes for February 23, 2015
Meeting called to order at 7 pm at the Knox Gallery
Council Members present: Wendy Jensen, Roz Halberstadter, Fiona De Ris, Susan Johnson, Steve Weisz, Pat Salomon, Hannah Fries
Old Business:
-Accounting review for state and town, reimbursement forms given to Steve and he will meet with Kit and Brendan (town accountant) to see that payment is made.
- Wendy met with Carol Edelman as a potential CC member. She is interested but not at this time.
-Pat has someone who is interested in joining the Council. Others will keep checking and Wendy will put an “ad” in the Monterey News.
New Business:
Plans were made for the upcoming Easy Ridin’ Papas concert, Feb. 28th at the Meeting House. The Council will have refreshments at the break. Hannah will introduce the band, Fiona will bring hot cider, Wendy, Roz and Susan will bring cookies/fruit and the petty cash jar.
Our next concert will be Friday, May 22 with Eric Martin and Karen Axelrod at the Meeting House. We will organize refreshments again for this.
Fiona and Wendy will meet to exchange information/paperwork for Fiona’s new chairwomanship!
It was brought to our attention that Susan and Wendy’s term was up in February, not the October date that was originally thought. There was an incorrect date entered on the website.
Our next meeting will be April 19 at the Knox Gallery. Wendy will be away. Fiona will run the meeting.
